Sports Achievements (2019-2020)
Sports and Games plays a major role in the overall development of the child. All the students from class I to XII take part in physical activities during the Physical Education Period. Class I to V have activities planned to develop their basic motor skills of Jumping, Running, Ball holding and Yoga. The PEC CARD ACTIVITIES have also been introduced at the Primary Level and the Children have been learning the concepts related to English, EVS and Maths in a play way method which is a more effective and enjoyable method.
From Class VI onwards the children follow the ONE CHILD –ONE GAME system in which the student is given a choice to choose from the different Games Facility Available in the School. Along with physical fitness school provides opportunity to learn yoga which is compulsory for all.
The school gives coaching in Athletic, Basket ball, Hand ball, Volley ball, Skating, Yoga, Jr. School Band, Taekwondo, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Chess and has a strong Tennis team also. Children represent at the school Zone, Cluster, State and National Level and we have children who had won laurels at National Level.
School has won the Over All Championship Trophy for Games and Sports (girls) in Zone-19 for the session 2011 -2012.
Physical fitness is also a parameter of evaluation and hence there is a Mass PT performance every Monday and children are trained to develop all the fitness components like Speed, Endurance, Flexibility, Power and Coordinative abilities. Every year the school holds Annual Athletic Meet in which the children display the Physical Activities which they have learnt throughout the year.
The School is proud of its NCC activity which has produced many best cadets for the Delhi Cadre since the time of its installation.
Parul of class VII and Kritika Thakur of class VIII won gold medal in C.B.S.E North Zone and selected for C.B.S.E National.
Pallavi Tanwar of class XII and Manika Madan of class X won gold medal and both are selected for national skating championship.
Akshita Kataria XI won gold medal in Delhi state yoga championship. Mekal Mishra of IX won Bronze medal in Delhi state yoga championship. Both are selected for national yoga championship.
